    A large choice classic Zuni Polychrome pot circa 1885, Height 25.4 cm. Diameter-35.6 cm. A large Rossette possibly of Spanish origin, Dominates the design on this jar, While the small arabesque birds and thin volutes play a major role. Comes from the famous collection Marjorie and Charles benton collection, Evanston, Illinois. This jar appears on page 145 of historic Pottery of the Pueblo Indians-(Frank Harlow 1990) Is a well known example of the classic late 19th century Zuni pottery, Worth .000- 0000 at Auction.
